Our Customer Process

On your initial enquiry, we will visit your property to discuss your requirements and view your property or garden. We will then provide you with a written quotation (Devis) detailing all the works,  materials required and the cost for the works discussed.

If you are happy with the quotation, contact us first to agree a start date then you can sign the form and return with the relevant deposit. Dependant on the length of the contracted work, stage payments may be required, otherwise the balance is settled on completion of the work.

Our hours of work are normally 9.00-5.00 (8 hour day) without the 2 hour lunch break, but some variables like the weather will affect inside or outside work during the height of the summer or the winter months.

Preparation on Day One

The setting out of your project, especially with tiling, is paramount to providing a quality professional finish. On the first day we will prepare the floor area for tiling, this will include relevant primers & cleaning and dry laying your tiles in smaller areas, if required, overcoming any difficult cuts before laid with the adhesive. We aim to discuss with you any issues and agree the best solution before the tiles are laid.

On Completion & Aftercare

Once your project is completed, we prefer you to inspect the project before we leave, however this is not always possible. If you are concerned about any element of the project we will return , discuss and hopefully rectify any issues you have. Customer satisfaction and our reputation is paramount so we will always aim to leave your project with your total contentment.

Dependant on the type of work contracted on your property, sometimes materials or weather can affect the progress of the work.

With the weather on outside work during in the height of the summer, it may be necessary for us to start our working day a little earlier than 8.30am to avoid the main heat of the day as adhesive and grout cannot be used at over 30 degrees.

Alternatively in the colder months, outside tiling can be affected. As can tiling inside the property if it is not yet habituated with no heating, the minimum temperature is 5 degrees. It is best to discuss your requirements and timescales with us and we will work out the best season to complete your works.

The quality of your tiles, adhesive and grout is also important. You will need to ensure when purchasing your tiles they are manufactured from the same batches so the sizing and colour of your tiles should be identical. This will avoid additional time taken to arrange your tiles into suitable batches & colouring. I prefer to recommend local tile suppliers and other local merchants for affordable branded materials that are required, such as grout and adhesive.
